A respite from the cold

After some cold and wet weather, today has been fantastic with warm westerlies nudging the temperature up to 16 degrees! Can't argue with that in late October.
Trees are all showing nice colour now, should be spectacular in the next few weeks or so!

Just about to leave home to get train to London.
Plenty of rain about and a little breezy, is my light leather jacket enough? Suppose 'the smoke' should be a tad warmer than Hawley.

First frost of the autumn this morning, and it was a hard frost too, -3.3 which was a surprise!
But it soon warmed up as the sun still has plenty of warmth at this time of year.
