Batten down the Hatches!

The UK can expect some seriously interesting weather Sunday into Monday when we will get hit by the the remains of Hurricane Katia which is a category1 Hurricane currently off the east coast of the US.

The entire UK will be affected but as yet its hard to pin point what part of the country will bare the brunt of the severe gale force winds and torrential rain but some structural damage and disruption to the start of the working week is likely.
So keep an eye on the latest forecasts.

  1. Batten down the hatches.. batten down the hatches.. I am sure like me you will not be fooled by this utter nonsense and you will be wearing shorts, t-shirts and putting on factor 5..

some of you may have thought that this was a message from Colonel Gaddafi to his last remaining troops, warning them of the rebel fighters attacking Hawley.. you never know he may be hiding there in Royal Road, but fear not, I am sure that he will get run over by a local resident in the coming days...

Those of you reading this may be concerned of the comment " structural damage".. Its alright, the Ellis Brother who claims he is a pilot will not be marking certain anniversaries with his plane. Those of you waiting to catch a flight with him at Southend airport, might as well be waiting at Biggin Air as he is known to over shoot the landing!!!

I am also concerned about where the name Hurricane Katia comes from.. probably a victim, so if anyone sees some rope, duck tape or a spade in the Hawley area, please report to the Police.

Anyway, I am off to listen to some Gary Glitter, drop some Nurofen round to my friend Amy's house.. Looking forward to the next blog update.. I mean who needs Michael Fish..
